ENERGY RESEARCH 36V/8A LIon chargers are specially designed to charge ER-Power Buddy batteries to their maximum capacity in the shortest possible time, taking into account the battery voltage and charger voltage. The charger goes through 3 phases:
- Bulk charging - charges the majority (60-80%) The charger supplies maximum current until the terminal voltage rises to the set level.
- Absorption - completes charging to almost 100% at a constant voltage. The current decreases when the battery reaches full capacity.
- Float - maintains charging at a constant voltage, keeping the battery 100% charged.
