The Monolith smart charger will charge your battery using a smart 3-stage charging process that includes charging voltage and current regulation according to the current battery charging status. It consists of 3 steps:
BULK stage – identification of the battery and its needs, charging up to 80% of the battery capacity while maintaining a constant maximum current and high voltage
The BOOST stage is the so-called absorption charging, which maintains a constant charging voltage between 14.1 V and 14.8 V, reducing the charging current.
The FLOAT step is the final charging cycle, known as constant charging, during which the battery has already reached 95% of its capacity and gradually reaches 100%, the charging voltage drops to a constant value between 13.0 V and 13.8 V, and the charging current automatically drops to 0A when the battery is fully charged. The battery is charged in a continuous charging mode.
The current battery charging stage is indicated by the charger's LED light. Smart 3-step charging has many advantages, primarily:
