Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 2—an advanced series of marine navigation and fishing devices designed for anglers who value clear sonar images, precise navigation, and convenient fishing spot planning. You can choose from 10-, 12-, or 16-inch models with a bright touchscreen and physical control buttons.

The devices support traditional CHIRP sonar, ultra-high-resolution “ClearVü” and “SideVü” sonar technologies, and “Garmin LiveScope” systems. These technologies help you monitor the underwater environment, assess the bottom topography, and detect fish. Sonar functionality depends on the selected transducer and configuration.

Garmin LiveScope Support

The ECHOMAP Ultra 2 series is compatible with Garmin LiveScope live sonar systems, which allow you to monitor the underwater environment in real time. The LiveScope system and its required components are sold separately.

Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ Maps

Use compatible marine maps for navigation, mark waypoints, and create routes. “Garmin Navionics Vision+” offers additional mapping features. Maps and their content may vary depending on the selected product and purchased mapping.

Ultra-High-Definition Sonar

Models equipped with the GT56UHD-TM sonar provide traditional CHIRP sonar and ultra-high-resolution “ClearVü” and “SideVü” views. This helps you assess bottom structures and the underwater environment beneath and to the sides of the boat in greater detail.

Multiband GPS

Supported satellite navigation systems help you determine your location, mark fishing spots, and create routes. Multi-frequency GPS provides greater positioning accuracy.

“Quickdraw Contours” Maps

Create and save maps of your local waters to better explore fishing spots and return to promising locations.

Wi-Fi and ActiveCaptain

Using the ActiveCaptain app, you can update software, record screen captures, and access Quickdraw Community data. On compatible ECHOMAP Ultra 2 and ECHOMAP UHD2 devices, you can wirelessly share waypoints, routes, and select sonar data.

Connection to Boat Equipment

The NMEA 2000 connection allows you to connect compatible heading sensors, autopilots, and other onboard electronics. The devices are also compatible with Garmin Force engines.
