DualBeam Plus sonar in Humminbird Helix 5 DI G2 fishfinders provides the essential features you need, while SwitchFire sonar further enhances the image.
The key difference from the Humminbird Helix 5 Sonar G2 is that this fish finder features DownImaging sonar (DI), which allows you to see the bottom with exceptional clarity, with various objects rendered as if in a picture. See beneath your boat through the eyes of a fish, with high-frequency waves producing unique images.
Scanning is possible at speeds of up to 48 km/h (30 mph), but the best and clearest sonar image is obtained at speeds of 2-9 km/h (1-6 mph).
These sonars also have the option of updating the software.

DI - DownImaging sonar - clear, sharp image of the bottom and immovable objects on it (rocks, branches, other sunken objects). The image is extremely clear, like a picture.
DualBeam Plus sonar is also a dual-frequency sonar, which is found in all Humminbird fishfinders except for the PiranhaMAX series. Sonar frequencies and coverage: 200/83 kHz covers 20° and 60° respectively.
SwitchFire sonar - see what you want to see. You can turn on or off the scanning filters you want. Humminbird SwitchFire sonar echo sounders also have two main options - Clear mode and Max mode.
Clear mode - objects on the water surface are filtered out, allowing you to see the largest objects in the water without any extraneous small disturbances nearby, as well as the bottom structure (picture on the left).
Max mode – you will see everything: the bottom structure, objects on the water surface, on the bottom, and throughout the water. You can also clearly see the movement of the bait (picture on the right).
