Description

FIXGRIP 40 is a high performance multi-purpose spray adhesive for bonding large surfaces. Solvent-based PVC, odourless and non-flammable, suitable for safe and convenient use in a wide range of environments.

600 ml of adhesive is sufficient tocover4m2(covering both surfaces to be bonded)

Instructions for use:

Prepare the surfaces to be bonded
Make sure both sides are clean, dry and degreased.
Surfaces can be cleaned with a blast of compressed air or with Fix Cleancleaner .
Shake before use.
For best results, the ambient temperature and the temperature of the surfaces to be bonded should be between 15 °C and 27 °C.
Spray the adhesive on both surfacesat an angle of 90°, holding the sprayer at a distanceof 15-20 cm.
Start on one side, then spray on the other side.
Wait 1-2 minutes for the solvent to evaporate. The adhesive must be dry to the touch.
Spray in a "cross" pattern:
on horizontal surfaces - one direction;
on vertical surfaces - the layers should overlap by approx. 75-80%.
This ensures the strongest adhesive layer.
Wait 1-2 minutesagain for the solvent to evaporate - the adhesive must be dry.
It is recommended to apply the adhesive to the edges as well, especially in the case of grooves or depressions.
Press firmly, either by hand or with a press.
Strong clamping gives maximum adhesion.
Adhesion is achieved immediately, but full bonding takes 24-48 hours depending on temperature and humidity.

After using the adhesive, clean the nozzle by pressing it briefly upside down.
Adjusting the adhesive stream:
weak turn = weak stream,
strong turn = strong stream.
