"Garmin GPSMAP 1022/1222" — these are advanced fishfinders with a large, bright screen and physical buttons designed for easy operation that can be programmed to suit your needs, as well as a multifunction control wheel. The GPSMAP 1022 and 1222 models have 10-inch and 12-inch screens, respectively, making it easy to view navigation information, maps, and sonar data all on a single screen. The devices can be mounted on a bracket or integrated into the dashboard.
The devices support “Garmin Navionics+” and “Garmin Navionics Vision+” charts.
Sonar capabilities:
If you choose an xsv model that supports sonar, you can take advantage of integrated sonar technologies:
- CHIRP traditional sonar—for exploring the underwater environment and locating fish.
- CHIRP ClearVü—for a more detailed view beneath the boat.
- CHIRP SideVü—for monitoring the underwater environment to the sides of the boat.
- “Panoptix” and “LiveScope” support—for compatible systems, depending on the model and connected equipment.
Sonar features depend on the selected device version. Some transducers and accessories are sold separately.

The GPSMAP series supports integration with compatible marine electronics via the Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000 networks. Depending on the model, other connections and wireless communication features may also be available. This allows you to create a unified navigation and electronics system for your boat.
