The Yamaha 6Y8 instrument set is designed to monitor the most important parameters of the outboard motor and boat in real time. The set is compatible with Yamaha four-stroke F20 - F300 engines.
The tachometer displays:
- Engine speed (RPM)
- Trim position
- Oil pressure
- Cooling water pressure (*with additional sensor)
- Total operating time and travel hours Battery voltage
- Battery voltage
- Engine temperature
- Maintenance interval
Warnings:
- Overheating
- Low oil pressure
- Low battery voltage
- Water in fuel filter
- Check Engine message
- Diagnostic codes
- Cruise control (*depending on engine model)
Speedometer/fuel gauge shows: *indicates a malfunction in the vehicle's electronic system.
